What's new in release 14

The doctype declaration has been updated to point to the new HTML 3.2 standard.
Now there is only one set of HTML extensions and you can choose your preferred upper or lower case for the tags in the Template dialog.
New HTML extensions have been added for divisions, horizontal rules and line breaks.
New tags have been added to the Style and Format extensions.
The Meta-information extension now features some short-cuts for more or less standard http-equiv fields.

What was new in release 13

This release takes advantage of some new BBEdit's interface features, so that BBEdit 3.5 or BBEdit Lite 3.5 or later are required.
There is now an upper case version together with a lower case version featuring tags in lower case for those who hate all-caps.
The HTML extensions will be under the Internet menu (and not the Extensions menu) if you're using Internet Config.
Heading, Paragraph, Format, Style and Specials apply default options without passing through a dialog box if the option key is pressed. Default options are the ones you selected the last time you used this particular extension.
Heading and Paragraph now feature alignment options.
A new Meta-information extension allows you to add META fields to the header.
Some minor bug fixes.

What was new in release 12

A bug caused BBEdit Lite to crash when you tried to use the new Send to Host extension. This problem has been fixed now.

What was new in release 11

A new Send to Host extension can save the current document into a host account by means of the Anarchie ftp program.
Image and Link extensions let you choose the image or linked file in a standard file dialog box. A relative URL to the file will be built if it is in the path of the current document.

Format and Form Select extensions let you have lists with short list items without any blank lines:

which is best for long items:
